I'm getting air in the fuel line so I'm going to try replacing parts between the engine and the tank. The fuel shut off has NPT valves connected to threaded barb adapters. What do you recommend for sealing the threading between these parts? I tried looking for a fuel shut off with barb fittings (I figured one less area to leak) but didn't find anything particularly robust looking - unless you know of one?
By way of background if the boat sits for a week or more fuel drains from the Racor fuel filter. I have to top up the fuel filter with diesel and then prime. It doesn't affect operation of the boat and it can be restarted readily the next day or so, so it's a slow vacuum leak.
Thanks!
Eric
