Inka Fuel Tank F010012. 100 Gallon. Searched but can't find depth. Fuel reading off so probably replacing sending unit. Like to purchase a replacement prior to removing the existing unit. Nothing on line. Any information would be appreciated. THX!

most people use the garmin fuel flow rates to determine remaining tank volume. rather than a tank depth measure which can be innacurate due to boat attitude.

I posted this earlier this year. Your sending unit may need to be calibrated. Most Tug and Cut owners use their Garmin to maintain fuel usage. That works good as long as you always enter your fuel amounts each time you fill or add. I have done this for 2 years and it was off by 15 gallons that isn't that bad considering I used over 700 gallons of fuel in that 2 years. If the Volvo fuel gauge is calibrated properly it will be accurate. You must realize that when your are running with a bow High attitude it will not be. When the boat is running at hull speed it will be accurate. WEMA now called KUS is the manufacture of the sending unit. Measure your outside tank hight dimension subtract 1/2" for the wall thickness of the tank and then subtract 1"( sending unit is positioned 1" off the bottom of the tank. That is the sending unit you need. My tank dimension was 10.5" -1/2" -1" =9" I ordered a WEMA 9"

i "reset" my garmin by carefully filling the tank to full regularily

Same here. Fill the tank carefully to full and set the Garmin to full every fill up. Check the Garmin before filling to know when to slow down the fill process and listen. Slow down when within five gallons of full. Full has always been within a few of gallons of what the Garmin indicates.
