Hello RT factory and fellow "Nuts".. (BTW.. FANTASTIC Webinars !! thanks!!)
Question about my 2018 R31 CB...Luxury Edition...(so it has reverse cycle heaters rather than Webastos..)
For layup this winter... i pulled some fuses to spare the batteries as I have a canvas winter cover that blocks the solar panel... no problem.. batteries did well.. However, when I went to replace the fuses, I realized some wires were unlabeled and or different than the "Owners Manual" shows.
1): probably easy..DASH FUSE BLOCK #2: two wires labeled WEBASTO... are those just for my fore and aft Reverse Cycles??
2): the top right wire in DASH FUSE BLOCK #2 is a smaller red unlabeled wire (not "Diesel Heater" as in the operators manual picture) that I believe on my boat should be 20A, I accidentally put a 1A in which blew, and seems to be something to do with the radar since the radar would not work once it blew (I put a 20A in and all is now fine with the radar.) Is a 20A correct for that??
3): DASH BLOCK #2- small unlabeled orange wire, 3rd down on right
4): DASH BLOCK #1- 2 small red wires unlabeled, both with 7.5A fuses, last 2 on right bottom
5): DASH BLOCK #1- top lugs each side, NO wires attached, only left one has a 3A fuse in it.
6): DASH BLOCK #1- 3rd down on left, tiny red unlabeled, 1A
I understand every boat is different.. just wondering if the factory had any info for me. (by the way, bought some incredibly genius replacement fuse where a small LED lights up in the fuse that blows!!! Only slightly more $, but boy what a headache saver !!!) Thanks
