I must be doing something wrong with the Fusion 750 series stereo and the Fusion speakers that came with my new CW 28. Just picked the boat up a few weeks ago and exploring all the systems . Sound is not much better than my I-phone at this point.

Anyone have suggestions on getting this system up to speed?

Thanks,
Bill T

I could use some help with the sound quality also. The Fusion app makes the controls easy through bluetooth.

we have an r-29cb with the fusion 750, i have to say i've always found the sound quality disappointing compared to other boats, but we didn't get the Ranger for the stereo! If you open the media/audio settings through your garmin you can adjust the equalizer as well as balance between zones. It should be a lot louder than an iphone but the sound is heavy on the mids, the lows are nonexistent and the highs are muffled. Someday I think we will upgrade the stereo.

Various posters over time have related that upgrading the speakers is the key. The Fusion is actually kinda high-end, but the speakers are kinda not.

Sounds like poor audio is not due to something I am not doing correctly.
Understand about not buying a Ranger or CW for the stereo system , but would think that a high-end boat would have a moderately good Stereo system.

( My speakers are Fusion speakers as well)

Looks like upgrading is the answer.

Thanks for the reply's.

When we got our '15 CW '28 I already had a nice Sony stereo I was going to replace it with. I talked to Richard & then Kenny @ CW Cst Svce. He suggested that the replacement would not be system compatible & that I had prolly not figured out the operation yet. Damn smart ass. Well he was right of course & when I figured out the equalizer on it it worked mucb
better. I put the cabin speakers down in the v berth either side of the 24" DVD tv I replaced the mirror on fwd panel with & put a pair of old ADS I had in the main cabin. Huge upgrades both of them for our livability. We listen to Sat radio pretty exclusively & it's great. The tv location change & upgrade to the 24" Supersonic DVD is awesome. We bring library dvd's on cruises & love movie nights. A $10, 12v motorcycle amplifier made the $170 tv into a v birth theater. The mirror is installed with a good mastic & not easily removed, but with long putty knife type blades it can be done. Martin 253-514-9002
