Garmin 7215

Our 2014 R31 has a 7215 plotter. Combo. Have G3 chip. Since last update it wants to go out in Atlantic instead of Intercoastal waterway even if it is 10-20 miles longer. Anyone know how to set for inside passage?

That is a typical "problem" with the auto guidance. I spoke to Garmin about the issue and that is the way it works. You can pick a point much closer to your boat and it may go to that point rather than the outside. Your other choice is to do a manual route.
