I have a 2020 CB32, and I was reading the chart plotter manual (yes, I’m a geek). My question is about registering the device. Does the factory do that pre-delivery? There is information about downloading Garmin Express, registering the device with the SD card, etc.

If you use Active Captain to download updates, all of the Garmin equipment on board will be registered.
