I own a 2010 R-29 and would like to know where the GHP 10 Course Computer Unit (CCU) is located.

I have a 2014 R31S with the Garmin autopilot. I think the interior layout of my R31S and the classic R29 (your 2010) are very similar. If that is the case, then your CCU is likely on the starboard side about mid-ship under the counter. You can access the CCU by removing a couple of the cabinet drawers in that area.

When you say CCU, I assume you are talking about the unit that is about a 4" diameter black ball, with a couple of connectors on it - one for power and one for the NMEA 2000 cable.
 
Same on our 2011 R29 behind the bottom drawers
