I have a ‘16 c-30 CB. Has the 7 series garmin screens, two at the helm and one on the bridge. I’ve been trying to get the “owner” removed and moved over to me and having some issues. I’ve followed all Garmins instructions to do this, and have got the two helm screens setup correctly. The issue lies with the screen on the flybridge. Garmin dictates that you have to “isolate” the units so they don’t talk to each other by removing the Ethernet cables as you reset each one. The problem is, that if I remove the Ethernet cable from the one on the flybridge- it won’t turn on it all. Is this normal behavior? I can’t understand how an Ethernet cable would be giving power to the screen. Very confused…

Problem solved on this for anyone who encounters this problem in the future. I had my spouse help me and we did a coordinate reset of all 3 units simultaneously with the SD cards removed. This removed the owner from the ActiveCaptain and allowed us to set it up under our ownership.
