Garmin not showing MPG

Why would the Garmin, which is politely displaying fuel consumption in gph, and GPS speed, no longer display MPG. It is showing dashes. Has been that way for several days. No amount of resetting or reconfiguring fixes it. It clearly has all the information it needs.

Had the same problem on the fly bridge. Called The Garmin help line on my cell and they walked me through the fix while I sat at the helm. Toughest part of the fix was the wait time for the tech. Patience is a great virtue and you will get the desired result. Garmin help line is 800-800-1420. Be like me, keep your "SANITY".
