Garmin Plotter Depth Won't Display

Following a few months of being idle we fired up our 2023 Ranger Tug 27 and all systems go with the exception of the depth value on the Garmin GPS MAp 8612xsv. If I switch to fishfinder chart it shows my current depth but not on the navigation chart. All other parameters are displayed properly.

Any clues as to how to get the the depth value back ?

Most likely a question for Garmin however thought those of you with a similar experience may have the answer.

I figured out the issue with the no depth value display. Although I had not downloaded a software update to Active Captain the Garmin GPS indicated that a download was required. I marked later and proceeded on. Lesson learned is to download the update and proceed. Once I did so the depth value returned.
 
What version software did you have when you lost the depth, and what version fixed the problem? I have v36, and noticed the same issue- no depth reading, but could see bottom on sonar. Garmin suggested upgrading to v36.12, which I did, but still not seeing the depth readout.
