Garmin projected onto TV

How do I project the Garmin 7612 plotter onto Majestic TV. This is for 2017 R29. I want to swing berth TV around. I am pretty sure I did this a few years ago yet I can’t figure it out ☹️. It is also to swing other TV around for cockpit. Thanks.

My boat came with the ability to do this, I think from the factory, but I was the second owner of it so maybe this was an owner mod.

On my 2018 R31 there is a VGA cable from the plotter to the back of the TV. I simply need to change the input and it will duplicate what is on the plotter.

When you say change input, do you mean select input on Tv screen? Or do you mean change cable?

I do this by simply pushing a single button on the remote control. Not having the remot in my hand right now, I don’t recall the name, but it is in the lower left corner of the remote. I think it might “computer” or “input”.

mine is wired with a VGA cable to the tv. you just have to choose the right input on the tv. pretty sure the video feed is running all the time.

Mine has HDMI cable between Garmin and the Magestic monitor. Be sure you select/allow the Garmin to send it(on the screen) and that the correct input is selected on the Magestic itself. Button on top of Magestic turns monitor on. If both are talking to each other, you should be in business. Remember you also have option for engine parameters to be displayed as well. Chart is really nice for folks with you .... Hope this helps a bit .... if you are not getting anything, chances are input is not selected like you might think it is.
