Subject: Garmin's Quatix 5 Watch ?
Anyone have this watch I wonder ?
My reviews makes me think it's more focused on tracking activities such as running, hiking, swimming rather than boating. However, it does have some nifty boating features and can connect wirelessly with the Garmin 7612 and ones smart phone. I like that it can interface with and control the boat's Autopilot and display the boat's speed, depth, temperature and wind. It can even control the Fusion radio. Garmin's web site claims its "designed for the water".
It's a bit spendy, and just another gadget/toy I suppose. :lol:
