Mr. G, The information your asking for can be easily obtained with a tape measure and a bathroom scale. Measure the strut fully extended, then measure the stroke distance, then measure the weight of item by standing on bathroom scale and lifting. You now have all the information needed to order a replacement. Gas struts are available on line shopping and many auto stores carry a good supply.

Thank you for the info Bob. Just can’t seem to hold the radar /anchor light tower and get on a scale.
I’ve shopped plenty for the strut just not sure of what weight strength capability the strut should have.55lbs,100,lbs,maybe more maybe less. Got the size part of the equation.
