Gen raw water pump seized

The raw water pump stopped on my gen. I figured it was the impeller, but when I pulled the pump I realized it had seized (the was also a broken tine on the impeller). It looks like there’s lubrication ports on the housing. Should I have been lubricating it? And if so, with what? The manual doesn’t mention this. The gen has just about 100 hrs over 6 years, so lightly used.

Which model geb do you have?

It’s a NextGen UCM 1-3.5 with a Jabsco raw water pump.

How old is the generator? Is it possible it was sitting for a long time without being used?

Did you take the belt off and try to spin just the water pump?

If it still doesn't turn I would take the pump off and rebuild or replace it.
