Can someone give me a simple checklist for starting the Onan generator on my 2013 R29? Thanks!

Turn off all A/C switches, including the switch referencing "shore power" or "generator." Hold down the generator starter switch until generator starts. It will emit a clicking sound for several seconds until it starts. Of course, ensure that the generator thru hull is open and the generator battery switch is on. To turn off: first shut of all A/C run items (e.g. air cond., outlets); then push the off button only once.

Just to add my bit of knowledge here ... as with all diesels let it run for a while when you start it so it has a chance to warm up .. Meaning dont turn it on to make a coffee then shut it right off ... Then after you have shut off all the electrical stuff as mentioned.... let it run for a little bit with no load to cool down a bit before you shut it off
All these little things add longer life to the generator .
They sure make life I the boat pretty nice
Enjoy

I also verify water flow out the exhaust after starting the genset. On the R27 it is high enough above the waterline to easily see, not sure if you can do this on your R29.

Thanks everyone!
