I just recently replaced the glow plugs on my 2014 D1-30. Two on the 3 were dead. Engine still started fine but an easy DIY task so I installed new at an opportune time. The original plugs were Perkins 185366259 but was unable to source them as I kept getting aftermarket options when I searched them online. In any case I used NGK glow plugs as they were the quickest option but after installation I spoke to a mechanic who said that they are the worst available options and I should source the original through a Volvo Penta Dealer. I was just wondering if anyone has an opinion on the NGK's and if anyone else have replaced the glowplugs on this engine and what make they used?
