After 4 great years, we sold Make It So, 2019 C30 to a fantastic new owner in Seattle. We loved her but it is time to get something larger (we'll take delivery of an American Tug 395 later this year).
There are so many great discussions here that I'll continue to drop by. And I want to share HUGE thanks for all of the community here -- and I mean both the "old timers" like Bryan, Gavin, KnotFlying, Dave, Bruce, and RT staff, and so many more ... but also newcomers who help us all learn simply by asking questions. There really is no bad question, and the community is very welcoming.
Finally, I'll share my person 0.02 of a few things that I loved the most about our C30:
1. She could go almost anywhere, fast when needed, efficiently otherwise, fits almost any slip or anchorage
2. Easy to single hand including once when the admiral got appendicitis (an aft spring line loop helps, too)
3. Comfortably outfitted for all seasons and for days at a time in all locations, no matter how remote
4. Cockpit enclosure and Webasto diesel heater made her superbly comfortable year round with an extra "room"
5. Drop fins that really help her get up on plane, see everything, and go faster and more efficiently
6. Full enclosure shower for nice hot water showers to start or end the day
7. YachtBedding mattress made the berth at least as comfortable as home
8. ... and generally just the delight of seeing her every time we would return to the marina, dock, or anchorage
Happy boating!
