We just bought a R-21EC that does not have GPS or a depth sounder. I don't need to find fish, but would like to know depth and some basic gps navigation.
The Garmin echoMAP CHIRP 53cv is about the right size and price range, but it comes with a transom mount transducer and I can't figure out if it will work with an in hull transducer like the GT8HW-IH.
Any recommendation would be appreciated.
