The Lucky Fin has been conscripted to bring wedding party to the reception on the shores of the beautiful Flathead Lake.
The best part is.....I won't have to wear a suit. A uniform shirt with the bars and a hat with the scrambled egges has been ordered. So don't laugh someday when I show up at a Tugnut or C-brat gathering in a full dress uni.  Can't let it all go to waste can I. I have heard when dining out in uniform you get better food and service because they think you might be a cruise ship captain that could bring all the passengers next time.

Any of you other Nuts want to attend, just bring your Tug along with. There is bound to be lots of food and good company.

Up date on "hard Start, no Start"
Cummins NW sent a mechanic from Spokane ( 200 plus miles) and installed the ECM. Started right up about 7 times in a row. Thanks Andrew, Randy Day. 😀

Speaking of tug-related attire, I think it's about time for Ranger Tug T-shirts. I've got the cap, now I'd like a T-shirt to go with it...and would be willing to pay for one.

Any others out there ready for Ranger Tug T's? (As if John, Jeff and Andrew don't already have enough on their plates!) 🙂

You post neglected to state the date of the wedding reception. I'd bring my Tug over from Bozeman, but what day??
AND, isn't it sweet, when the Cummins starts up on the first crank, every time? All it took was switching the ECM, or ECU (I've heard it called both), a computer fix. Otherwise, it's a wonderful engine, and I'm totally pleased with my Cummins 150 hp. Enjoy yours to the fullest now.

Captd, congratulations on getting the engine fixed and also on the pending nuptuals! I'd come but its a couple of thousand miles and my TomCat probably wouldn't fit in anyway! Have not married off any grandkids but we're probably within a few years of that!

Have fun!

Darrell,

I have a few extra shirts with epaulets and some spare bars. Let me know of you need them. I hope all is well and we hope to see you and Dee here on the St. Johns soon. We were up at the " SilverGlen" a few weeks ago and some people stopped in thinking we were " Lucky Fin". Anyways they said a big ' Hello" to you and Dee. They had met you on Hontoon Island.

Cheers,

Frank and Cathy

Frank,
I suppose the the bars have wings instead of anchors.....Thanks for the offer.

I just sold my 17 Montauk. They sure hold their value well. Now we have a pontoon boat for fishing our little lake.

Hey Frank would you tell me again what all makes up your weather station? I have sirrius radio instead of XM. The Garmin needs Xm. The small stand alone is of interest to me. It would be more portable. The same setup you have?

August 8th is the big day, come on up Charles.( on the Blue Bayou) We hope to spend a few days cruising around. The lake is about 50 miles long and has huge Lake Trout.

Charles ( on the Captains Cat) Hey a couple thousand miles is no hill for a climber. Thanks for the good wishes.

And yup the Ranger factory should come up with a new t-shirt. The Ranger logo would look good on a jacket or t-shirt. They could give one away for a bird dog fee. The jackets could be available the same color as your boat. Good advertisement Jeff. 😀
