We are moving up in size after 5 seasons cruising with the Ranger Tug community so this is a thank you to all the Ranger Tug factory team who have tutored us and Sea Ranger with an incredible level of service and fun. We are grateful as well to early volunteers like Patrick and Gail, Bruce and Vicki, Bob and Nita (how do I find my own Margharita machine) and so many others who made the outings so memorable and fufilling. As newcomers in the beginning we would not be enjoying the cruising lifestyle today if it had not been for the amazing support and mentoring from so many in the Ranger Tug community. It has been an extraordinary introduction into cruising so thanks to all.

I have posted Sea Ranger, our R 31 on the "for sale' forum.

Hey: Sorry/sad to see you move up and away. 🙂 Take care.

What are you moving up to? I believe that will be our destiny in a couple years too since Ranger has no (current) progressive path.

And thanks for passing on your first Ranger Tugs (R-27) to us (formerly Purfect, now Tugnacious). We send this from Echo Bay on Sucia Island tonight. Congrats on moving up. Perhaps the Ranger Tugs folks will take this as a sign to make a bigger boat!

Thanks again from Jeff and Barbara.

We are moving to a Helmsman 38 Pilothouse. And Jeff good to hear that you and Tugnacious are out and about. Is this the right time to move up from the R 27 to an R 31? Sea Ranger is everybit as well maintained as Purfec!

Will you be keeping that Helmsman at Port of Edmonds ? That's the same model David and Maureen have I believe... and they seem very happy with it and have made some interesting upgrades to it.

Hi Barry, yes if a slip opens, for sure eventually since we live right above the marina. I have visited David's website and he has definitely made many enhancements, some are now standard on the 38!

Hmmm.... I gave up my 30' covered slip but I guess that's too small for your new big boat. When does it get delivered to you ? ... or do you need to sell the 31 first ?
