Hi everyone,
I’m new to this forum but have been enjoying reading the threads. I searched for this topic prior to this post but couldn’t find the answer I was looking for. I’m based in the northeast PA/NJ and have been dreaming about doing the Great Loop. I’ve narrowed down my search to 3 boats, based on what I saw at FLIBS last month. R27 with twin 150s, R31CB and the new Cutwater CB288 CB.
For those that have done the Loop with outboards, assuming you’re stretching you lower unit oil change to 200 hours, how may haul outs did you need to do on the loop and what was the average cost of each haul out?
