Gulf Coast Gathering 2013 !! 10/25-10/27

We will be hosting another Gulf Coast Gathering for all our Ranger Tug friends and customers as well as our new Rosborough and C Dory , Eastern and Seaway friends and customers. I think its the 7th or 8th installment and hope to continue this tradition well into the future .
The Water Street Hotelhas blocked 10 rooms and slips for the weekend with reservations which will be reopened to the public 9/25 .Many of you know the facility, as thats where we do our detailed delivery/orientations with our Tug customers. There is a wedding that weekend so it will probably be filling fast . There are new owners at the Hotel and they are excited to have the group there and be more involved in the cruising community. We will host Sun Breakfast at the hotel around the pool . There are more slips available around the downtown waterfront as well.
Still getting final confirmation on where we will gather , but we will likely be back at Rivercrest,which is a great venue to gather . As always cruises to be detrmined according to weather and general consensus.
We will be hoping to get some factory representation there if we can, and just have a typically great time in Apalachicola !

I just want to bump this up as we are going to want our Tug folks to keep this on the radar . Its a great event and we will not have Water Street Hotel rooms and slips available past late September . I know we will have a great time as always and we will certainly have a great Tug contingent .

There are several events going on in the area this weekend and all of our "Boutique" Hotels are full. I did check with The Best Western Apalach Inn and they have plenty of clean rooms available this weekend. The address is 249 Hwy 98, Apalachicola and their number is 850-653-9131. Their rate is $99/night Fri and Sat (less the other days) with AAA or AARP. There are only about 6 miles from the gathering so give them a call!

Another Ranger Tug is coming to our gathering . Gerry on the R 25 Classic "Flag" is coming to join us from Ft Walton Beach Fl. He has been a happy Wefings customer since 2007 !

Ron and Julie Merritt are "in" this year! First timers from Lynn Haven, Florida, with a R 21-EC "Barnacle II". Look forward to a great weekend in Apalachicola and meeting some fellow Tugnuts!
