Hairline cracks on overhead windows r27 2015/16

Has anyone observed cracks in what appears the plastic coating of the roof hatches? I have seen half inch hairline cracks on two windows in the round corners on the outside. Don’t recall if the outside window is all plastic or aluminum with plastic cover. The boat is not exposed to excessive heat and is 9 month of the hot times in covered berthing

That type of cracking in lexan is typical of exposure to chemicals such as ammonia based windex glass cleaner(most likely), gasoline fumes, WD40, etc.

If you are referring to the white plastic that surrounds the clear lexan. Yes, we are starting to get that on our 2016 r31 as well. We have never used anything other then the very mild boat soap for cleaning.

Yes, I meant the white frame not the Glas itself. And no, besides water, salt and fresh, nothing else has been used there.
