To all those who have installed Oceanair hatch shades on their tugs, could you post some pictures and let me know?

Pic in my photo album.

Thanks Brian. Did that require any special modifications to the shade frame or the hatch frame?

Barry,
They were installed by the previous owner in 2010. He had them custom made and they were quite expensive at $350.00 each for the cabin, V berth was $280.00. I have all the old paper work and order forms if you need more info.
They mount in place of the hatch trim, no mods were necessary on the boat. They are a great product, I would recommend them.
I do not believe that stock Ocean Air shades fit these Jim Black hatches but someone else may have more info.

It would be great if you could send me a copy of the paperwork. Could save me some time. Also, any chance you could take a picture with the shades fully open? Aware of the price, but if they keep the interior cooler and the sun out of eyes, it is worth it.

We had the same issue with the sun on our Cutwater 26. I took reflective auto sun shades and cut them to fit between the glass and the screen. Worked great. Plan on doing the same thing on our new R-29S
