HDMI Cable Replacement

The connector end of the HDMI cable over the dinette got tweeked and is now broken. Starting from the port side fan opening I was looking for a pathway. Then removed the adjacent brown cover to see what was behind it. A solid tube. Any insights would be welcome. Next step is remove wood trim above after getting some sage suggestions.

I have a CW, not a RT, so I don’t know if you have the cable slack, but if you do, have you looked into replacing the connector? Several kits available and a number of instructional youtube vids. I know some kits are crimp rather than solder. Just a thought in case you hadn’t already looked into this. Good luck.
