I was told to use a non liquid product for maintaining a healthy head waste tank. What do people recommend? Thanks. 🙂

I found "Inline Head Treatment System Tablets" on West Marine web site (WM Model# 568600).
 
Gil and Barry,
We have found that they all seem to work the same. We have always used the Sealand products that you can purchase anywhere from Walmart to West Marine. The key is emptying the tank often.

The other thing that you must do is lube all of the "O" rings and rubber fittings. This is done with mineral oil. Dump about a quarter cup into the bowl and pump through each time you empty holding tank. NEVER use vegetable oil to lubricate anything! It will turn to gum! Mineral oil can be found at Walmart in the "laxative" department..... kind of makes sense doesn't it......
