Hello everyone,

We have had our 2012 R-29 Classic out a few times now, and love it. We have found however, that the head compartment doesn't have a heat outlet for the furnace. I have a few ideas for getting heat to the head, but would like to hear what other winter cruisers have done.

Thanks,
Brad & Marie

We leave the door open, seems to take the chill off fine, We use the shower a lot so we would want the outlet for heat in a good spot to keep the water away, The only spot I could think would involve running ducting through the cabinet which we use all of the space already.

I have just added this to the head : http://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B00LXB1 ... ge_o01_s00
uses very little power and has it nice and toasty, no thermostat just a hi and low switch .. It is not very big and not a lot of heat but is perfect for that space. Can easily fit beside the toilet or on the floor , comes with a long cord.

We use similar unit to Irish Mist, runs on 180 or 240 volts.
It has a rocker switch with 3 settings, off, low or high.
We leave it on low using 1.8 amps all the time when on shore power.
We bought ours at Home Hardware for about $25

Hello Brad and Marie,

We installed a wye and register off the main heater feed into the shower stall. Looks factory installed. One of our top 10 Mods. Please see below:

Is it your diesel heat or the A/C heat ? Can you post pictures please
Thank you

I have to say the little electric heater works perfect on low, Was down to freezing last night and still toasty on low.. Pretty easy 🙂

Diesel heater. I believe we may have previously posted pics - will check.
