Heat pump flush

Forward Heat pump fails safe on Pressure / Temperature safety. No known problem with salon unit
Original owner installed fresh water access in line, after the pump, to flush the system The fresh water flush does not appear to Improve circulation.
Any suggestions on how to clean the system.

Are you sure your intake is not blocked and preventing the proper flow? If all is clear then a flush with Barnacle Buster or Rid-lyme. The best way would be to make a continuous loop, use a pump and a bucket and let is flush for an hour or so. Another method, which is a bit easier, but may not be as effective would be to pump the cleaner in until it starts to exit and let it sit and then flush it out. You may have to do that a few times.
