OK, another issue with our 2021 R31CB was that the lock to the helm door wouldn't turn. I thought perhaps a key swap had occurred, but took off the lock to see if lubrication fixed it - which it did, the key works. Putting the assembly back together has an unexpected complication, in that the mechanism locks and unlocks with the internal thumb slider when not in the door, but the lock doesn't prevent access when re-installed. Putting the latch back into the door seems to pull an L-shaped actuator away from the pin that's supposed to keep it from working when locked, but I can't find a way to re-insert the latch without having to tilt that actuator. Does anyone have an insight into what I'm doing wrong? Thanks!
