Help searching on R-23

I am trying to gather information on the R-23 prior to Trawlerfest this year. The forum will not search on this as it is "ignoring" 23. Is there a way around this? When I search on Ranger 23 the same thing happens.

How can I gather information on the R-23 from this forum?

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

It interprets a "-" in front a word as must not be found. It's a way of narrowing search results. For example searching for "R29" results in 1,675 hits. Searching for "R29 -anchor" eliminates all posts that include the word anchor - which reduces the hit to 1,637. It's great for narrowing a search and not so great if you're looking for a hyphenated term.

Interesting.... I guess all future post will be R23 not R-23. Any way to edit my old post subject lines?

You'll find tips on searching, as well as many other forum topics, in the Frequently Asked Questions section. Questions about searching are addressed in the 4th topic down in the right column.

For instance, using an * between R and 23 - R*23 - serves as a wild card and will include strings with a hyphen.
