Hi Everyone
My name is Joseph Perri. My grandfather, Joseph Demuccio, helped start the Tugboat Enthusiasts Society, and I’ve known about it for as long as I can remember. He passed away before I was born, but my mom talked about it a lot while I was growing up, so it’s always been something I’ve been aware of.

This past Christmas I was able to find a copy of the Autumn/Winter 1995 edition of Tugbits Quarterly Journal on eBay and gave it to my mom as a gift. It meant a lot to her to hold something connected to her father and the organization he built. Seeing that reaction is what inspired me to finally come here and introduce myself.

I was hoping to ask two things:

1. If anyone here remembers my grandfather or has any stories about him, I would love to hear them. It would mean a lot to my family.
2. If anyone happens to have additional editions of the Tugbits journal that they would be willing to sell or part with, I would be very interested in purchasing them so I can give them to my mom.

Thank you all for keeping this community alive. It’s really special to see something my grandfather helped start still being shared and discussed today.
