With July 1st being Canada Day and the. 4th of July being our Declaration of Independence Day let us raise our flags high on our Ranger Tugs in celebration of our freedom as we cruise the waterways of our two great countries.

In addition for those interested we'll be heading off to Canada's North Channel and Georgian Bay next week for a two week exploration cruise, if you're planning on being in the area please let us know as we'd welcome the company.

Jim and Lisa

Hi Jim & Lisa

Enjoy your journey to the North Channel & Georgian Bay!

Happy Canada Day to all our Canadian and honorary Canadian friends, it's our 145th birthday today!

And Happy Fourth of July to our friends to the south on Wednesday, I think that is the time that summer is going to arrive in the PNW!

Safe boating everyone

We join you in celebrating freedom in all of North America. We're sitting in Liberty Bay at the Poulsbo Marina in shorts, a t-shirt and flip-flops, which means... well, it means it's over 50 degrees and not raining.

For any in the area thinking about coming to Poulsbo for the July 3rd (not a typo) fireworks, there are still plenty of slips and lots of room in the anchorage.

Cheers,

Bruce

Jim and Lisa we're jealous. We love Baie Fin, the nearby islands, Little Current's public dock, the fish at the red bus in Killarney and we always liked to anchor at least one night at Burnt Island in Beaverstone Bay for beautiful sunsets and absolute quiet. We'll follow your blog to live vicariously through you...

Safe travels...

It only seemed appropriate to run into Canadian water today for the whale watch. No one has mentioned that tomorrow (July 2nd) is World UFO Day... not sure where I'll be taking the boat for that.

Wishing everyone an enjoyable holiday week - hope you get plenty of time on the water!

Best wishes,
Jim B.
