House battery draining while plugged into shore power

We just bought a 23r and when we plug in at dock the house battery is dead in the am. We want the fridge to run. Anyone know how we should have the controls set to keep the house battery from getting so low? We are doing something wrong.

Do you also have the battery charger turned on? Shore power with battery charger on is how I run my fridge and it keeps everything running.

Are you seeing shore power on any of your 120 volt wall outlets? If not, check the ELCI breaker near where the shore power cord enters the boat.

Buddy on my dock just got an 23 as well. Shore power receptacle was wired wrong from factory. Ranger sent local dealer and got him fixed right up. Not sure if this is your problem or not.

When I read a post to a thread like this I cringe at the thought of a boat manufacture allowing a boat to leave the facility with a shore power connection improperly wired. There are check sheets to be completed at the factory, there are check sheets to be completed by the dealer. This is electrical, high voltage electrical, in a marine environment. If there is a system in a boat that needs to be checked, double checked, confirmed to be operating properly with all connections sealed, tightened, and connected properly it is the electrical. How does and can this happen? The installing technician, the QC inspection filling out the PDI at the factory, the dealer filling out the PDI at the dealership, three sets of eyes and it fails with a new boat owner. QC,QC,QC....Electrical wiring issues should not happen in a new boat.

To answer the question a few checks to make.
Shore Power plugged in
Shore power at panel indicating 120V, yes (No check to see if ELCI main breaker is tripped)
Shore power panel 30 amp breaker on
shore power panel 15 amp battery charger breaker on
Battery charger on and showing DC charging amps
in line fuse (20 amp) at battery charger output connected at the battery is installed and not burned open.

Thanks all. It seems we are doing all of these things. Maybe battery just toast? It is a 2017 and we just bought her last week. So trying to figure out what we are doing wrong vs what is wrong with her. THANK YOU!
