house battery voltage

Hello,

I have a 2021 R25. The Garmin works off the house batteries and displays the voltage so I presume its indicating house battery voltage. There are two house batteries in series. With that said shouldn't the voltage on the garmin indicate 24 volts?
 
Batteries are wired in Parallel, double amp hour and maintain 12.7 Volts.
 
I inspected the battery wiring and you are right, they are in parallel. The salesman told me series which didn't make sense to me. Thanks for your reply!
