How do I remove the microwave?

Could someone please tell me how to remove the microwave on a R27? I am going to convert the space to extra storage, but needed a little experienced insight. Thanks!

Take the mattress out of the mid ship birth. Then get on your back and wiggle your way toward the front headfirst. Bring a flash light and you may say the same thing I did, “man, there is a lot of room down in here to do something with”. Even found a 110 vac outlet that the microwave was plugged into. After you see the space, you may not have to remove the microwave to get the room you are looking for but you will see how it is mounted.

I have not had to remove mine yet, but I would think that if you removed the small wood strips on the side there are either mounting screws or some type of fastener that can be removed and it would slide out from the front.

I did the mid-ship backslide into the cave on my back as advised and agree there is a lot of space down there. I removed the two brackets which secured the microwave and with the wood trim pieces on the front off my wife slid the oven part of the way out and then I finished removing it. I repositioned the microwave A/C outlet to the top corner of the space and covered the opening in the back of the space with a board and will paint it to finish things up. I'll have to find a door to fit th opening or come up with another idea to secure it. There is more storage space on this boat than I thought at first.
