Last summer I trailered our 27 from the SF Bay area up to Bellingham for the Desolation Sound cruise and back again. 2000 mi. without a problem--that is until the last 47. When re-fueling in Stockton my wife noticed that a trailer tire had picked up a nail and was flat. Although I had an extra tire and hub I had run out of time when preparing for the trip and did not have a jack to make the change. Had to call the Boat US service (excellent response) in order to resolve the situation. So my question is what do you all carry for the trailering emergencies? It seems that the spectrum goes from a few stacked 2x6's to some very heavy equipment. I know some have proudly posted that they carry two wheels/tires, hubs, jackstands, etc. but all of that adds to a very heavy rig anyway. What is the most efficient way to take care of the tire/wheel/hub emergencies? If you use a jack what kind do you use and where do you stow it? Jackstands?

I got a 12 ton hydraulic bottle jack that is kept in the truck. Also threw in a couple of 2x12's.

Have not had to use with the boat loaded yet, but still made sure the wheels were chocked.

The lug wrench for the truck does work, but I got a separate one for the trailer wheels if needed to keep with the jack.

Pair of bottle jacks and a pair of 6x6 timbers. Don't carry wheel chocks as the trailer is hooked to the truck on the road. Certainly would not hurt to have them but the truck bed is already packed full.
A large X-wrench for the lugs. Gonna be a bitch getting them off as they are put on with an air gun at 140 foot pounds. 😱

Now that I think of it - gonna add an 18 inch piece of pipe to go over the X-wrench handle to increase my leverage. Should also carry a two pound short handled hammer to urge the wrench onwards. (Harbor Freight - we use them everywhere on the farm)

A couple of 2x4s',10 ton bottle jack and a 20-volt DeWalt impact wrench w/ spare battery. Almost NASCAR fast.
