Right after you post it there is a "x" button next to the edit button. That removes the entire post. After the post has been viewed by others all you can do is delete the text via the edit function.

I have a question. I used to be able to view unread posts only. As of a couple of weeks ago I get a 40 page list of new posts. I have deleted cooking and re logged in, still no luck.... help?
