How Do You Remove the Back Rests?

It's time for my back rests to be spruced up on my 29-S. Any idea how you remove them from the boat? I couldn't feel any fasteners. Are they glued on?

I do not have the stern coaming cushion(s) on my 2016 C28, but for each coaming cushion on the port and starboard gunwale, I just have to push upward from the bottom and they detach from their metal clips. Hope this helps.
