Howard to the Rescue

This afternoon, we could not get the generator to supply power to the AC panel. I sent Andrew an email copying Howard and Jeff. I briefly explained on the email what the problem was. Howard shot me an email explaining how to resolve the problem and said call if I needed to. I called Howard, he told me exactly what to do and, wa la! It worked!

Thanks Howard!!! You won't get that kind of service from American Tugs when you buy your 49 footer for $750,000.00!!! Ranger Tugs supports their customers!

It has not been often, but a couple of times I have called Howard to ask a question and he is always there to answer the phone, He helps me solve the issue in no time.
I do have to agree with Karma and say where the hell else are you going to get that kind of service. Ranger tugs rock!
But more so Howard rocks!

Karma... Why else would I ask Ranger for a 49? I DON'T WANNA BUY A BOAT ANYWHERE ELSE!!!!!

The other companies may have nice boats, but its the PEOPLE Behind the boats and customer service that matters the most!

Also, according to the August 2009 edition of MotorBoating magazine, the base price for a American Tugs 49 is a bit more than $750k. It says $998,500. :0
For that price I could buy almost four R29's OR almost nine R25's OR have my own large fleet of R21's.
Either way, I'd rather have the Ranger Tugs. 😉

Most other places charge for Customer Service calls... and I'm not encouraging Ranger to adopt this business practice at all.

No doubt about it... Ranger Tug's customer service is excellent and has exceeded all my expectations since purchasing our boat from them. To have direct access to the Ranger Tug experts is exceptional but could run into problems in the future if and when Ranger Tugs grows to large a company... Let's use our silver bullets carefully. 🙂 I need to ask Jeff and Andrew how many I have left. :roll:
