Hudson river

We left Liberty Landing on Saturday, stayed at Half Moon Bay Saturday night, now we are at Rondout Yacht Basin near Kingston. The leaves are starting to turn and we have had a gorgeous few days. Beautiful river valley!! I am hearing that some of the marinas up here are closing at the end of October. If your trip plans include November, I would call ahead and check your planned stops.
 
Thinking of doing the Hudson from NYC up - are there any special fuel problems I need to plan for? The fuel stops seem far apart, but I haven't charted them.
 
We never had any problems finding diesel fuel on the Hudson. Gas is plentiful.
 
Count me in for a rendezvous next year. I have a Cutwater 30 in Jersey City. I am currently taking the boat down the ICW to Florida. Having a blast. Will bring it back in April.
 
Greetings to all in the Hudson River region, we spoke about a gathering last year, I believe there are at least 7 Tugs in the area now. Perhaps we can set up a gathering in August. I'm OK with going down to the big apple, perhaps the mid point area is the New Tappan Zee bridge area. Any suggestions or recommendations. Lets discuss.

I like the idea,only I have nothing to contribute never been anywhere yet in our tug so the idea of a trip excites me.
 
Coventina will most likely be around and would join the group.
