Do you have a diagram with the hull dimensions of a 2023 C-288?
There’s a cross section in the owners manual, but without measurements.
I need this info to set the bunks on a new boat lift. (The boat is not currently available to measure).

Thanks,
Chris

You might consider getting the bunk dimensions off a trailer that fits your boat. Otherwise, it is a guessing game. I copied a boat trailer once to make my own lift and it worked great. There was no question whether the boat would fit.

Yes, I think measuring the trailer may be the best option. I did not buy the optional trailer for the C-288 and have not been able to find the trailer specs anywhere. If anyone has the trailer specs / measurements, that would be most appreciated. Thanks, Chris

I have a C24 with a double stepped hull which I believe your boat also has. The trailer for my boat has four bunks which are staggered. Two main ones in the rear and two small ones in closer up front. The bunks on my lift are inline and are stepped up to match my hull. It would be hard to match my trailer on a boat lift. Hope this helps.

We have a c-288 and had the same issue. We have the trailer, the bunks are 54" apart. The hull is 24deg so do some math to make sure the bunks are high enough on the lift such that the keel does not hit the cross members. #13000 lift.

Good luck- Rick

I would recommend you get a dimensioned sketch of someone’s existing bunks for exact type of boat.
- bunk cross section? 4x8, 2x6, etc
- bunk length?
- are bunks parallel?
- where is angle measured from? Horizontal or difference between two bunks
- clearance below bunks for keel and prop?
- how is 54” between bunks measured? Centerlines or between two inside edges

Assume any dimensions and it may be consume much time and money.
