Hello, I have been looking on this forum and as well on line for the Hull specs on the 302 or the 32. From what I have seen in some 3rd party reviews online, and, looking in the good ole search bar, it says that the deadrise on the transom is 11 degrees?

I had my boat (C-302)out of the water and it sure looks like a steeper angle than that? I wonder if 11dg. is correct? I took a picture of the transom and compared it to an angle of 20degrees and it looks quite close to that?
It looks more like an angle in the high teens or so? Maybe 19? (hard to see a single degree comparing a picture)

Does anyone have any information on what the hull angles are or, a drawing that shows it? Can't seem to find anything on that.
I am interested in it.

Also, in case anyone wants even more info on MPG, I have seen maybe a bit better than what I read others are getting. I have seen some owners getting .9mpg or 1mpg. In the time I have owned the boat, I have not seen 1.34MPG like the reviews/reports say. I have seen at best, with half-full tanks or less, a best mileage of 1.2MPG. Engines trimmed all the way down and RPM at 4300.

I was closely watching the discussion on the Sharrow props hoping to see good things but it looks like the results are rather mixed? Not sure? I did see a member who owns a 302, Rocky Lou I think, say he was working with Sharrow? I am hoping that results can be made public soon? I understand that Sharrow makes you sign an NDA? I would love to see any update on how things are going with that and will keep an eye out.

Top speed I have seen on flat water, is 53Miles per hour. I don't travel that fast often, but is fun to know it can! The boat Turns pretty sharp too, it is far more nimble than the size would have you think.

Kind of a mix of questions and statements, thanks for reading if you made it to the end...LOL!
cheers,

The fact that Sharrow requires a signed NDA tells me everything I need to know.

Hi PNWTX,
I am not so sure? I read it as "we are developing something that is very Boat specific" and its "work in progress?"
maybe I am wrong? I don't know

But I am watching what people are seeing, and what boat test did with those results and I am interested in what they will do for a Cutwater?

I guess we will see....

I agree. If one loves the sharrow prop they are free to tell everybody. If they don’t, shhhh. Sharrow frequently publishes stuff on social media and then turns comments off as well.

Re: Sharrow- $5k and keep your piehole shut? Hope he got a discount.

I assume you are running outboards. On my R27OB I consistently get 1.4 nmpg at 4900-5000 rpm, 28 knots. If you are trimmed all the way down try coming up on the engines and tabs until you start to porpoise and then back off a touch.

I could see Sharrow having a NDA, for users who are testing their props, and who are given special deals or props gratis, to test. For outright purchasers I would think they wouldn’t have much to say. Many states in the last few years have changed some laws in regards to NDA’s, mostly to do with employee disclosure. There are at least a few R27’s using Sharrow, so maybe the test stage for the R27 is over, and what you buy for a R27 is a production item. If they were trying something new for your boat, I would think an NDA would be Ok, until they had the prop dialed in. It is a prop I am interested in, so it is always welcomed when I can see other’s experience.
