The inverter/charger on my 2018 C30 was just replaced. It is in close proximity to the hydraulic steering pump and, when I inspected the install, I noticed that the valve on the steering unit was in the closed position. I think it should be in the open position but really don't know. I sort of suspect that the technician changing the inverter/charger closed it just to gain more access room and then forgot to open it.
Should this valve be in the open position for normal operation? Many thanks in advance.
