Just curious if there are any Ranger tugs heading up I-5 from Northern California this weekend. We leave early Saturday morning and will stop over in Eugene, Oregon for the night, arriving in Auburn, Washington Sunday afternoon. After a few days with Andrew and Kenny, we'll launch at Des Moines to cruise northward into the San Juans and Canada. If there are any Tugnuts going north, we will be at the 505/80 junction about 0900 Saturday.

Have a good ride north and enjoy the cooler weather. We'll be headed up in 2 weeks.

Stu, Don, Brenda,

Have a great trip up. We will be hauling Tugnacious up August 1st. We are joining family for a two boat cruise north of Desolation Sound, so we will miss the tug trip to Deso. Safe and cooler travels.

I am sure you'll see plenty of the group, with 80 tugs and Cutwaters it will be hard not too.

Don, Brenda, Barbara, and Jeff,

We will keep an eye for your boats. We plan to be at Ganges by the 26th and maybe earlier to join the armada heading for Nanaimo and points north. Following Desolation, we want to get over and up to Johnstone Strait and the Broughtons before coming back down. Plan to be back home by the end of September. Emmy Lou will then be back at her home slip at Oxbow Marina near Isleton. In the future, it would be fun to rendezvous with you (and others) in the Delta.

Great! I will look for the Tugnut Armada heading south while we are heading north. Weather permitting, we will be in Pender Harbour on August 4th, heading into Deso after that. Should be quite the mess of great looking well-made "cute" boats up there.

And yes, the Northern California contingency should plan a Delta to San Francisco trip to round up the clan. Worth the fun.

Safe travels

Jeff

Good old Oxbow area. When I had the old boat (C-Dory ) we kept it down here, the new boat lives on blocks in Anacortes awaiting our arrival and retirement which is 7 months away, then we move to our Washington house and say goodbye to Calif.
