I've discovered a new trick... 😀
I'm out fishing for Salmon a lot these days and will mostly have my Wire Hair Fox Terrier (Jake) with me. Fishing can take time & patience and nature will at times promote an urge for Jake. I had been using two old towels in the cockpit's corner for him opposite to where I land my catch. Some people use a grass like Matt for this purpose. Jake does not really know the real purpose of what my two old towels are for. 😉 😱
At home Jake wanders about the garden looking for his favorite spots and invariable locks onto a downed tree limb or a clump of weeds. This gave me an idea....
I clipped off a small limb from a bush with a good showing of leaves and placed this outside. Sure enough, Jake found it and was delighted with it. I now have this placed on top of the two old towels in the boat's cockpit corner... Jake now knows quite clearly the purpose of this ... a trick if you like, but it has made Jake and me very happy 😀 😀 😀 .... and of course the small limb of a bush is a renewable resource, and old towels can be laundered. :lol:
