The C-Brats had a thread on ice coolers. Thought I ought to have a better one that would hold ice for as long as possible. One of those mentioned was the Yetti. Cheaper than the Frigit Ridgit ( or what ever?) and probably as good. Anyway I found two sporting goods stores in Kalispell, Montana that had them. Sherpas and Tundras. The Sherpas being the cheaper of the two. Tundras were tested against two grizzly bears and they could not get into them. But,.... my thinking is: when was the last time a gris got into a cooler in Florida or the Bahamas? So I decided on a Sherpa. One store had a two day sale on the Sherpa. $199 for a 80 qt. $50 less than the competitor, who said that was a discount price. Now I came home thinking I cut a fat hog. You research guys close to those Bass Pro shops or Cabellas could come back and say I was had, but keep in mind .... here in Montana, the freight by pony express or UPS comes high. Now I hope there is room in the cockpit for two chairs and the sherpa. 😉

Have you considered making it a place on the swim platform to keep it out of the cockpit?

I'd want a large one back there as a fish box and a small one for the humans. 😉

Tom, if you're going to put fish in one and humans in another, wouldn't the biggest one need to be for the latter?

Thanks - I needed that this morning....

Charlie:

Unless he's fishing for really large fish... then he has his priorities in order, wouldn't you say?

Large fish, or sometimes just parts of them... 😉
