Hello all - Congrats on the new Forum!

I believe there might be a problem with posting images - I went to put up a post and even though my image was under the 800 pixel requirement (750 pixels) it's still chopping off the right edge of the image. I posted a sample below! More of the right side of the transom is shown in the uploaded image however as show below it cropped the right side! If you would like to see the full image you can just drag it to your desktop and open it.

Just a thought but it sounds like the Forum Pref's for the window size might be set too small to display a 800 pixel image.

Thanks

Yup...thanks for catching that, but the fix is to reduce the allowable image width. The theme being used here is fixed-width, which prevents images any larger in the forum. I've changed the setting, to allow up to 700px in either direction.

This will primarily affect folks linking images from external sites, as you did. For folks using the albums here, linking to their photos will fit fine - as long as they use the intermediate size. That's the first large image seen, when clicking on the album thumbnail, and the gallery is configured to make that a max of 640px wide on upload.

Max image width when viewing within the galleriy, is 800px - which is also set at upload time.

Ok, re-sizing it to 700 pix worked fine - Thanks!

I put up two posts w/images with no problem - then when I went to upload another, I kept getting this error - I even tried using the same images that were used in the other posts with no luck.

"It was not possible to determine the dimensions of the image"

Thanks
