Today our newly-acquired 2012 R29 was transformed from bland-white-gelcoat to FANTASTIC! Kirk from Raptor Deck (https://raptordeck.com/) installed Teakster decking in the cockpit. He made the installation look so effortless, I felt like even I could do it!

Now I'm pondering having the swim platform, side decks and bow deck all done too! 😛

There are pics in my photo album of the U-Dek install we did a couple of years ago on our 25SC. It is the same 3M product Raptor is using.

Looks great! Not sure about the swim platform as it spends a lot of time underwater while underway..

Yours is gorgeous! Have you had any issues with lifting of panels on the swim platform? I wonder also whether the 25SC gets as wet back there as does the 29.

We did have one piece on the cover for the swim ladder loosen up. I think we were catching the edge when using the ladder. I have a dinghy on the davits so the swim step is awash most of the time.

That panel over the swim ladder does seem to present an extreme test for the adhesive backing. I wonder if 5200 or similar sealant applied to that one panel (without the 3M backing) might provide a solution for that location.
