Hello all,

It's time for us to buy a new boat and the Ranger 29 looks very tempting. Does the "inboard" spec mean a shaft-driven prop or inboard/outboard?

Thank you!

It's a shaft driven prop with a skeg protecting the prop and rudder. A very durable design found on commercial fishing boats.

Correction to my last post: It's actually a full length keel, not a skeg.

Maineman,

We currently have a R-29CB here for the winter. Your more than welcome to come by and see the bottom design and shaft layout.

Thanks
