Inflatable mattress

A bit of Loop Planning….
Anyone come up with a space saving solution - an inflatable mattress in the dinettes area. The regular insert provided just takes up too much room for the infrequency that we use it.

Mine is in storage off the boat. I figure it will get used little to never so I’ll grab it if needed…

We left ours at home. Cruising for 6 months.

Yeah we’re definitely leaving the cushion home. Will measure the cushion, see if I can find an inflatable. We anticipate company during parts of the loop.

Can a hammock or foldup cot be somehow setup in the cabin isle? ... would hold one person at least. Just an idea. 🙂

Also, if you had a cockpit full enclosure it could be used for over night sleeping.

I love this idea! We plan to put an inflatable in for the cockpit. If you find one that fits, that would be good to have

So, I have been looking for an inflatable cushion to fit this area for years now without luck. But I did find something that helps, memory foam, you can at least store it in a stuff bag when not in use and it takes up less space. I have come to the conclusion that I will have to make my own inflatable to fit this space if I want to go that way. And the two Ranger Tugs that I have owned were different size cushions.

I wonder if there’s a company that makes them to order? Have to search that.

We have the back of the boat closed in. I have used an inflatable mattress in this area and slept there well while my partner slept in the mid cabin giving our bedroom to guests.. I would guess it was a twin or double inflatable I had back there.
It filled the whole back but I slept well.
I have used the table for sleeping a few times but it is just good for one adult.. I was able to keep the fill in mattress in the mid cabin against the wall for the cockpit.. but that was when the boat was new and not so cluttered… we have since put the fill in as well as the mid cabin mattress in our storage.
